Dear Parents,As the school year is coming to an end, so are our classroom homework programs.Spelling - Students will have their final spelling test next Friday, June 24th. Spelling test booklets and duo tangs do not have to come back to school the following Monday (June 27th). Please keep them at home. Reviewing spelling words/sight words over the summer holiday is encouraged.Shared Reading - Next week will be the last week for Shared Reading. Students do not have to bring their folders back to school on Monday, June 27th for review. Please keep them at home. Students should be encouraged to read a few poems a week from their folder for summer reading practice.Snuggle Up and Read - Tomorrow (Thursday, June 16th), will be the last day for books to go home. Please help your child to return all classroom library books and levelled books to school by Friday, June 16th. We are missing quite a few books, so please check your child's home library to make sure they didn't get mixed in by accident. The levelled library books need to be returned to our schools levelled library so teachers can take inventory for next year. Thank you for your help in returning books. Please visit your local library for summer reading selections.Thank you again for supporting our classroom homework programs.Mrs. Cherevaty

Photos - Willowgrove Farm Class Trip
Hi Parents.
The class had a great class trip at Willowgrove Farms on April 29th - and here are some pics from the trip!
Hanging out with the animals in the Barn (and learning about milking cows)!

Going On a Hayride to find Trillium and Wild Leek (Ramp)

Getting a 'Hair cut' aka Sheep Shearing up close!

Learning about Grains & Making Flour
Who knew a chicken lays 312 eggs in one year!
Instead of sand....a play area made of corn!
All in all a fantastic day at Willowgrove Farms with our class...
